NEW PACKING CHARGES

These days, the majority of our designers are asking us to box beds and headboards for shipment. Unfortunately, when these charges are added at the time of shipment, many designers have a hard time collecting the additional costs from their customers.

For that reason, we are now adding the cost of packing all headboards and beds to the estimate. If you choose to ship your items by white glove which does not require boxing, please let us know when the order is placed and we will remove the line item charge.

Additionally, for items other than beds and headboard, if you know in advance that you will be using a shipper that requires a box or if you a shipping to a receiver, please let us know and we can add those packing charges to the estimate as well.

For your reference, our packing charges are as follows. Please note, at this time we can only package “normal sized” items. Any oversized item requiring packaging will need to be sent to Ampac Forwarding for packing and shipping.

All prices above are for “normal” sized items. Please check for pricing on any unusual or large sized items. Packaging will be either fully enclosed in cardboard box or tray and shrink wrapped on a cardboard tray depending on item and size. We will continue to charge packing charges separately as so many customers choose delivery methods that do not require packaging – we do not want to burden all for the needs of some. Hopefully this makes sense for all!
