Nina Upholstered Bed combines our above average height Nina headboard with its standard 4″ welted channel along with complimenting footboard to use with any standard box spring and mattress.  Nina was designed by Jennifer Dabenigno of Dab’s Interiors, Stoneham MA.

Our upholstered beds include H9 side rails atop H4 square tapered feet (total H13.) The box springs sits on slats that are approximately 1.5″ higher than the bottom of the upholstered rails.  In other words, a box springs of H8 or shorter should fit even with or below the top of the side rails. Side and foot rails are upholstered without welt and are approximately 1.25″ thick.  Be sure to specify your choice of stain colors for the feet.

As with all headboards, feel free to customize with:

• Channel Detail – a 4″ “channel” around the perimeter of the face of the headboard separated with a welt line in the gulley of the channel
• Upholstered Rails – perfect for a finished look when box springs are present
• Platform Bed – combines our upholstered rails with an upholstered platform for when box springs are not present
• Button Tufting – available in both “soft” or modern tufts as well as full diamond tufting
• Nail head trim – available around the face of the perimeter as well as in place of the welt inside the channel gulley if selected

All Ted Scott headboards are approximate 2.5 – 3″ thick with a line of self welt on the face and back edges of the boxing. Headboards also feature H19 upholstered legs.  Headboards are not pre-drilled with holes for attaching a base. Upholstered rails and platforms are pre-drilled.
